$699.99
A powerful, light, agile women's freerider that adapts to any conditions and can cut elegantly through the backcountry when needed.
The Blaze 86 W builds on what the other models are known for lightness, versatility, and agility. Because there is no Titanal, the ski is a bit more sprightly and also a bit lighter. The Blaze 86 W is designed for quick, tight turns, although the sidecut's three different radii also master demanding terrain, speed, and long, drawn-out curves. Suspension tips and tails give the ski composure, increase flotation and protect the ski off-piste. The Blaze 86 W is a great ski touring option for backcountry ladies who are happy to accept 100g of extra weight in exchange for a much-improved skiing experience. Built around a light, high-performance, full tip-to-tail wood core, it can handle ascents and makes descending a pleasure (except if the snow is too deep). A highly versatile technological setup that gives the Blaze 86 W an intuitive feel and an unusual level of creativity.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- ROCKER: Tip & Tail Rocker
- CORE: Multilayer Woodcore Light
- BASE: P-Tex 2100
- RECOMMENDED BINDING: Marker Griffon 90, Squire 90, Kingpin, Kingpin MWerks
- SKIING LEVEL: Intermediate, Advanced, Professional

Do it all in deep snow – at 94mm, this is a real master of every snow scenario.
The introduction of the Mantra marked the beginning of Völkl's powerful freeriding ski line – for those who want to ride free without any restrictions but with all the control of a sporty all-mountain design. The new Blaze series adds a new dimension for intuitive freeriders who like performance but appreciate a playful, agile feel as well The Blaze 94 weighs just 1,566 g (@ 179 cm) and is a highly versatile ski for outstanding performance in almost any conditions.
A 0.3 mm thick Titanal binding platform provides direct power transfer and builds pressure quickly for a fast response when switching edges. The ski's faster, more direct response is especially welcome in narrow and rough terrain – and takes less effort too. The secret largely lies in the 3D radius sidecut. The Blaze is designed primarily for short, fast turns, but its three different radii and tip-to-tail hybrid multi-layer wood core adapt to any riding style, however ambitious.
Another notable feature is the suspension tip. An elasticated, rubbery material on the tip and tail acts like a bumper, especially in wind-blown and tracked conditions, making the ski more settled and providing fantastic flotation.
The Blaze is popular for freeride touring too, thanks to its lightweight. That's why Völkl also offers Smart Glue skins tailored to each Blaze model.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- ROCKER: Tip & Tail Rocker
- CORE: Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore
- BASE: P-Tex 2100
- RECOMMENDED BINDING: Marker: Jester 100, Griffon 100, Duke PT, Kingpin, Kingpin MWerks

$759.99
A ski for the rad woman who revels in agile, responsive turns all across the mountain, and might want to tackle an uphill touring effort followed by a technical backcountry descent.
The Blaze 94 W is what we like to call "sporty". It delivers on many levels, but it is made for the high-octane delight of a skier that loves to turn on a dime, in every type of terrain. The 0.3mm thick layer of titanal across the binding platform creates an impressively direct power transfer from skier movement to ski action. Keeping the titanal only under the foot creates an incredibly fun and responsive turning experience, immediately from initiation, with little effort.
Although it is designed with short turn radius goals, the 3D Radius Sidecut and Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore significantly enhances the ski's liveliness and maneuverability for any turn shape. At only 1427g (@ 165cm length) and with the addition of the Suspension Tip and Tail (basically a rubbery "bumper" for whatever the ski comes in contact with), it is a fantastic touring ski as well. Regardless of resort skiing glory, off-piste endeavors, or backcountry objectives, the Blaze 94 offers an incredibly wide range of use in all conditions.

- CORE: Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore

There's only one ski that's better than the Mantra M5: the Mantra M6.
How do you improve a legend? You retain the features that made the ski famous and add the latest innovations, which allow progress where a year ago you couldn't see any room for improvement. The new Mantra M6 again comes with a multilayer wood core and tip and tail rocker. But in the coming season, the newly designed ski body will, for the first time, be adapted to a 3D radius sidecut concept with a tailored Titanal frame. By adapting the Titanal components to the various ski lengths and thus to the skier's proportions, not only can the tip and tail ends be weight-optimized, but the torsional stiffness can also be influenced, thereby improving the ride qualities. This retains the familiar stability of a Titanal ski while also making the Mantra M6 noticeably lighter and more agile to control. The new handling characteristics of the Mantra M6 are also enhanced by the tailored carbon tip. The dedicated positioning of the carbon fibers results in a precise tip response and vastly improves the ski's torsional stiffness.
In summary, the Mantra M6 is even more versatile than its predecessor and once again offers maximum fun!
KEY FEATURES
- TAILORED CARBON TIPS
One of our latest technologies is Tailored Fibre Placement. In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material.
This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the handling of the ski. The stiffness, torsion, and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response, and active skiing pleasure.
- TAILORED TITANAL FRAME
Our new key technology is called Tailored Titanal Frame. In contrast to the previous design, the width of the titanal frame is now adapted exactly to each individual ski length.
This results in Tailored Titanal Frames, which are positioned above the sidewall along the tip and tail area of the ski to provide the desired damping and torsional stiffness. The size of the frames is tailored to the skier's height, skiing ability, and power. This means that longer ski models have a higher titanal content for more stiffness, more direct power transmission, and stronger dampening. The shorter the length, the lower the titanal content, which makes the ski more agile, so that smaller, lighter, and less powerful skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski. In addition to the Tailored Titanal Frames, a second, thinner titanal layer is located in the binding area, which gives the ski the necessary strength, but also agility. The result: the Tailored Titanal Frame technology provides an incomparable combination of agility and high-speed control.

The junior version of the Mantra – without a Titanal layer for lightweight riders.
With an 86 mm waist, the Mantra JR offers plenty of floatation even in soft snow but is playful in any off-piste environment thanks to a full-sensor wood core for a smooth flex and a tip and tail rocker profile. Contrary to the adult model, this ski comes without a Titanal layer as younger skiers lack the necessary weight to benefit from this feature. The Mantra JR, therefore, offers precisely the handling properties that you'd expect of it – optimally tailored to the target group.
TECHNOLOGY
- FULL SENSOR WOODCORE
The full sensor construction features hardwood in the binding area but - contrary to the speed wall wood core - under the screws and in the outer areas a lighter wood. This results in a very sporty and agile skiing characteristic.

EMC
The HEAD EMC (Energy Management Circuit) features ceramic piezo plates incorporated into the front and rear of the ski. Here, the kinetic energy is converted into electronic energy and in turn, the electronic energy is used to absorb negative vibrations. This means that the ski runs smoother and allows you to ski at a higher level all day long.
ERA 3.0
Era 3.0 is a combination of technologies, shape, and geometry.
Think rocker, think radius, think rebound. Think 3-dimensional!
