Recommended Use | All Mountain |
Flex | 120 |
Last Width | MultiFIT Last: 97 - 100mm – The MultiFit Last was developed in conjunction with the BOA® Fit System to accommodate a variety of foot shapes ranging from 97mm to 100mm eliminating the need for multiple last option (LV, MV). |
Forward Lean | 2° / 14° (with removable Power Wedge) |
Shell | PowerLite Shell – The shell is purpose-built to result in the best skiing, lightest weight boots ever produced. Made with four different stiffnesses of TPU and optimized wall thickness profiling, the Powerlite Shell achieves a paradoxical balance of lightweight agility and power. The resulting boots weigh in as some of the lightest alpine and freeride on the market, yet they ski with all the power and drive of heavier boots. PowerFuse SpYne – A rear co-injected “Y” shaped design that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock, the PowerFuse SpYne maximizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for sustained performance and responsiveness in all terrain. Because of the SpYne, K2 is able to optimize materials in the cuff and shell, eliminating excessive vibrations in rough terrain. Shell and Cuff – TPU (Thermoplastic Urethane) Fully Heat Moldable – Both the boot's shell and cuff are capable of being heat molded to a variety of foot shapes for a truly custom fit. |
Liner | Precisionfit Pro Liner – Pre-molded and lasted with Ultralon heat-moldable foam. Featuring an asymmetric tongue, pre-molded ankle pockets, and a high-density power collar for a firm-but-comfortable performance fit |
Buckles | BOA® Fit System – The BOA® Fit System provides a performance fit engineered to enhance feel and responsiveness while reducing pressure points by incrementally modulating the Alpine boot closure with precise micro-adjustments. H+i1 DIAL – Provides micro-adjustable, precision fit and quick release, with quality and durability guaranteed. The BOA dial platform features a breakaway design engineered to eject the dial cartridge upon severe impact without damaging the system, allowing skiers to pop the dial back into the bayonet midmountain. In the unlikely event that the system is broken, it can be easily repaired and replaced. SS3 Lace – Built to withstand skiing the toughest terrain, season after season. Made of stainless steel, SS3 is BOA's strongest, most durable lace, boasting a tensile strength of more than 254 kg Rivet Guides – Heavy-duty guides for low friction tightening and loosening |
